BALDING MAN

The Balding Man is podgy, occasionally rash, beer-bellied and in his early-50's. He has worked in the administration department of a multinational company for the last twenty years of his life and has never received a promotion. With feelings of bitterness long behind him, he has been left with a too familiar numbness, and has accepted that his life, which he shares with his domesticated wife, will be nothing more than ordinary.

He is more concerned with comfortably reading the daily newspaper's World Travel section on his train trip home today and fantasising about the journey he will never take, than worrying about the existent world around him or being gracious.
